About Us

Jubilee Storehouse

Jubilee Storehouse is the food bank serving Aberystwyth and North Ceredigion. We work in partnership with local support agencies, who know their clients and their needs, and are actively helping them resolve their problems. We also accept one-time self-referrals and then suggest agencies who can provide ongoing help.

Our food supplies are donated by the public through collection points at Tesco, Morrisons, Cletwr in Tre’r-ddôl, Nisa in Borth, St. Michael’s Church in Aberystwyth and St. Anne’s Church in Penparcau.

History

Jubilee Storehouse was opened in 2011 and demand has increased considerably. We issued 136 food packs in 2012 and 3,142 food packs in 2023. For details, please see the Statistics section below.

Association with IFAN

IFAN is the Independent Food Aid Network in the UK. We are one of over 550 independent food banks who are members of IFAN.
